I have never had a facial, what should I expect?

Basically, I bring the spa to you! Once we have your appointment scheduled, I'll come to your home with everything I need for your facial—including my treatment bed, linens, products, and equipment.

You just need a little bit of space for me to set everything up. You don't need to do anything special or have your house looking a certain way.

And if you'd rather not have a facial by yourself, invite a friend to join you! It's a fun way to make a facial feel a little more like a girls' day, and you can take turns while I work with each of you.

I take credit cards through my booking site. A $20 deposit paid through my booking site will be what secures your appointment time. You will receive an email from me with a link to pay your final balance that day of your treatment.

Hold off on any exfoliation at home for about a week. If you are on any topical retinoids, pause that for about a week before your treatment time with me.

what if i have really sensitive skin?

You will be emailed a client intake form that will ask about any skin issues, as well as any medical issues that would need to be taken into consideration for your treatment. A consultation and skin analysis will also take place at the time of your treatment. My goal is to make sure your treatment is beneficial and relaxing too.

Feel free to dress comfortably. If you want to have face, neck, and chest treated for your facial, I will have a spa towel/gown that you can put on. I will also have a headband to put on your so that your hair stays out of the way.

I didn’t have my first facial until about 6 years ago either, so I really understand what it feels like not knowing exactly what to expect.

We’ll start with a quick chat about your skin and what’s bringing you in—whether that’s something you want to improve or just needing an hour to reset (both are completely welcome here). Then I’ll gently cleanse your skin and take a look so everything we do is based on what your skin actually needs that day.

From there, you’ll settle in while I exfoliate, treat, and mask your skin with products chosen specifically for you. There’s also plenty of facial massage built in, so it’s doing good things for your skin while also helping you fully relax. Some people love to chat through it, and others prefer to get quiet and drift off—there’s no right way to do it.

Skincare doesn't have to be complicated.

Whether you're just starting a routine or looking to upgrade what you're using, these are the brands and products I trust for healthy, happy skin.

If you are wanting a routine that is targeted for you, you can book a virtual appointment.  I also go over what I think would best work for you at each in person appointment.
